President Muhammadu BUHARI has conferred the former Imo East Senator, Distinguished senator Dr Darlington Eze Ajoku with the national award of the Order of the Federal Republic, OFR.
The Distinguished Senator who also doubles as the Managing director of darling fm, received the conferment during the National Honours Award Investiture ceremony at the International Conference Centre, ICC, in Abuja.
The Order of the Federal Republic (OFR) is one of two orders of merit, established by the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1963. It is senior to the Order of the Niger.
Meanwhile, a total of 445 Nigerians were conferred various national honours.
