Workers across 22 radio and television stations in Imo State under the aegis of National Association of Electronic Media Presenters of Nigeria, Imo State chapter will today elect Officers who will manage the activities of the association.
Out of 87 registered members of the association, renowned and award winning radio and television broadcasters Obinna Chineke of Darling FM popularly known as ONYE-JI-IGU, Gerry Osuji of Imo Broadcasting Corporation, IBC and nine other contestants have all been cleared for today’s contest by the election management committee.
Recall that the association of radio and television presenters with Gerry Osuji as a founding President has its chapters in other states of the federation and members of the public are invited to witness the election of these media professionals, holding at Mbari Kitchen, Orlu road Warehouse junction, Owerri.
