Two days after Nigerian singer, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley cursed Twitter folks, who think he’s an illiterate, the singer has also cursed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) at his show in Dubai.
In a short video posted on Instagram on Sunday, September 1, 2019, Naira Marley declared in Yoruba, “Ko ni da fun EFCC”. (It shall not be well with the EFCC) at the show.
However, on his Instagram page, the singer lamented that Nigerians in Dubai are spending their money in Dubai to beautify the city, rather than spend it in Nigeria.
He, therefore, appealed to the Federal Government to stop harassing rich youths, saying the government should let them feel at home.
You’ll recall that the EFCC arrested Naira Marley on Friday, May 10, 2019, for alleged credit card fraud.
He was thereafter charged to court by the EFCC and on Thursday, May 30, 2019, Naira Marley appeared before Justice Nicolas Oweibo of Federal High Court, Lagos for his bail hearing.
The court granted him the bail on the conditions of; a N2,000,000 bond, and two sureties, one with a landed property and the other, a Civil Servant, not lower than a level 10 officer.
After perfecting his bail conditions, Naira Marley was released on Friday, June 14, 2019.
