IMO STATE GOVERNMENT COMMENCES REHABILITATION OF ROADS ACROSS THE STATE

Imo State government has commenced the reconstruction and rehabilitation of roads across the state to ease movement in the area.

State Governor EMEKA IHEDIOHA while performing the ceremony said the measure would boost economic activities and discourage rural urban migration. 

IHEDIOHA explained that the state government had taken necessary steps in the redesign and procurement processes with the state ministry of works to provide durable roads.

Also speaking Commissioner for works BEN EKWUEME said the ministry would ensure that the projects were executed according to specifications as directed by the governor.

The governor also performed ground breaking ceremony for the reconstruction of four Technical colleges in the state noting that the colleges will be equipped to raise quality of learning
