Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) Imo State Command has reiterated its readiness to tackle all traffic challenges associated with the yuletide in Imo state.
State Sector Commander, FRANCIS UDOMA, gave the assurance in an exclusive interview with Darling FM.
UDOMA said the command has taken measures to ease traffic challenges in the state, especially in the flash points, during and after the forthcoming Christmas and New Year celebrations.
According to him, road users should avoid reckless driving, stressing that they were usually responsible for the problems on the highways.
The Sector Commander says the FRSC will increase patrol operations and continue to interface with officials of road transport unions to explore ways of effectively reducing road crashes this season.
