Report by the Foundation for Investigative Journalism (FIJ) revealed that Okuneye Idris Olanrewaju, fondly called Bobrisky, allegedly spent only three weeks of her sentence in prison, just as the rest of her prison terms were spent in an unknown location
Recall that Justice Abimbola Awogboro of the Federal High Court in Lagos had, on April 12, 2024 sentenced the controversial crossdresser to six months in jail for Naira abuse, but Bobrisky regained her freedom on August 5.
Her looks upon release from jail was subjected to public scrutiny with many, suspecting that she received a special treatment while in jail.
Martins Vincent Otse, known as VeryDarkman in the social media space and handlers of Foundation for Investigative Journalism pointed accusing fingers to EFCC, insisting that the agency of government compromised after it allegedly received about N15million bribes
Foundation for Investigative Journalism report further revealed that while Bobrisky was indeed taken to Kirikiri prison to serve her sentence, she disappeared from the facility.
