FEDERAL GOVERNMENT SET TO DEPLOY TROOPS ALONG BENIN-ORE EXPRESSWAY

Vice President, YEMI OSINBAJO, says the Federal Government will deploy troops on the highways to reduce the increased rate of kidnappings and killings.
OSINBAJO disclosed this when he visited the leader of the Pan-Yoruba Socio-Cultural Organisation, Afenifere, REUBEN FASORANTIN, to condole with the family over the death of his daughter FUNKE OLAKUNRIN.
The Vice President also recognise that security is a big challenge in the country, and has sought support from governors to ensure that the lives of Nigerians and their properties are safe.
FUNKE OLAKUNRIN was said to have been shot dead while she was travelling along the Benin-Ore Expressway last week Friday.
