Gernot Rohr names 24-man squad for Libya qualifying match- AFCON 2019

Super Eagles coach Gernot Rohr left out captain John Mikel Obi in the squad released yesterday for the October 13th  and 16th  2019 Africa Cup of Nations double header clash against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya,  

Mikel also was excluded from the Super Eagles last game away to Seychelles while Ikechukwu ezenwa remains the only home base player in the squad

Meanwhile Libya head coach, Adel Amrouche over the weekend  named a 22-man squad for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double header  match up against the Super Eagles.

The Libyan national team will camp in Tunisia for seven days ahead of their trip to Uyo according to Libyan newspaper, Al Wasat, the Libyan team would camp for a week in Tunisia from October 4-11 before traveling on a private plane to Uyo for the AFCON qualifier.

Nigeria will  host the first leg at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo on Saturday, 13thOctober with the return leg scheduled for the 18,000 capacity Stade Taïeb Mhiri in the city of Sfax, Tunisia on Tuesday, 16thOctober.
