IMO STATE GOVERNOR SUSPENDS IMO ACCOUNTANT GENERAL OVER NON PAYMENT OF WORKER’S SALARIES.

Imo state governor Rochas Okorocha has suspended indefinitely the accountant general of the state Stella udogwu over the delay and nonpayment of October and November salaries of the local government workers in the state.

Governor Rochas gave these directives at the heroes square in Owerri, the imo state capital when he attended the event to mark the 40^th anniversary of the national union of local government employees (NULGE).

The governor directed that the chief of staff appoints an acting accountant general pending the appointment of a new person in office.
