INEC TO RELEASE FINAL LIST OF CANDIDATES TODAY.

Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) says the final list of Governorship candidates, State Assembly and Federal Capital Territory Area Council elections will be published today.

Chairman of the Commission, MAHMOOD YAKUBU, spoke in Abuja at the Swearing -in of a new Resident Electoral Commission (REC), MONDAY UDO for Akwa Ibom State.

YAKUBU said the list will be published in all the State offices nationwide and the Commission’s website.

Meanwhile, the commission also urged Journalists to shun fake news and work within the rules of the profession to ensure successful conduct of the 2019 general elections.
